Greenwellgleeson are pleased to be working with a fast growing care home business in North East London to recruit a Finance Controller to be no.1 onsite.

The role will involve moving the current outsorced accounts in-house and growing a team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to for a rewarding and challenging role.

Duties to include:

Day-to-day running of the accounts department, including sales and purchase ledger duties, cash books, general ledger postings and preparing month end reconciliations.

Implementing/ensuring good accounting systems and controls are in place and are adhered to.

Liaising with carehome managers and ensuring the accounting information is provided from each home in the correct format and on time.

Purchase and sales credit control.

Monthly production of management accounts and KPI's.

Preparing annual budgets and forecasts and measuring these against the monthly management accounts.

Assisting and providing information to the company auditors/accountants for the year end accounts.

Must be computer literate and have experience in working with computerised accounting packages, data import links and report exporting to excel.

Must have the ability to work on their own initiative and be of strong character and interactive skills in order to ensure the smooth running of the accounting department.
