Utility Aid is the UK's largest energy broker to the charity sector operating from nine locations across the country. We're passionate about helping charities save money - savings that they can put back into their front-line services.


The Role:


Your role will be based out of our Sleaford office, working within the accounts department to ensure the smooth running of the finance function.

Responsibilities will include accounting tasks, general office support and administration duties.


Tasks will include:

  • Entering all purchase invoices onto Sage
  • Producing monthly reports and ensuring all purchase accounts are kept up to date
  • Raising monthly supplier invoices and performing all credit control functions to ensure these are paid
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash monthly
  • Update internal accounting databases
  • Process general administration functions

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous finance/office experience preferred
  • Well versed in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • A natural multitasking ability, with strong organisational skill and the confidence to work towards deadlines, whilst maintaining a busy workload
  • Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mind
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Experience with Sage accounts would be a bonus, however is not essential.

Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year
