You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £42,907 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role:


We are looking for a Curriculum Team Leader to support the Head of Department in the successful management and growth of the ESOL & International department.

The responsibilities of this role are to ensure that there is high quality teaching and learning for students on our ESOL & International programmes.

You will assist in the timetabling of learning programmes throughout the year, the supervision of team members and their appraisals and in the focus on meeting excellent standards through internal quality assessment and reviews.


The role has line management responsibility and you will directly line-manage a number of colleagues to support their development, progress and training.


What we are looking for in our role:
You will have extensive experience of delivering inspirational teaching and learning across a range of ESOL and International programmes.

You will have experience of preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and schemes for assessment and have experience of moderation and assessment verification of standards.

You will also have experience of being a tutor and working with students on a range of programmes to support them in achieving their learning outcomes, goals and targets.

We are highly ambitious for all of our students and you will need to be able to demonstrate this and develop this even further.

You will also have experience of assisting and recruiting new students and be confident in attending promotional events to publicise the college and the work of the department.

You will have experience of liaising with external awarding bodies and other stakeholders.


You will have a Degree, plus a teaching certificate such as DTLLS, Cert Ed or PGCE and/or CELTA/DELTA, or equivalent.
