Hours: 35 hours per week (10am - 6pm including occasional late duty on Thursdays)

Servoca resourcing is a recruitment organisation that specialises in placing people in to temporary and permanent roles within the resettlement and rehabilitation sector.


One of my well established clients are looking for a permanent worker to work as an IDVA in partnership with Brent Social Services working closely with women who have had Childrens social care intervention due to domestic abuse.

You will help raise awareness,embed early intervention and be responding to those experiencing domestic violence.

You will hold a caseload of survivors as well as occasionally as part of the duty team on a rota basis.


Duties will include:

  • Advising women of their rights and the options they have to seek help and support from multiagencies
  • Working in a fast paced environment with crisis intervention, advocacy and support to victims/survivors of abuse

Experience Required:

  • Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and the effects it has on women and children
  • An understanding of Childrens social care and care proceedings
  • Experience of direct work with females and survivors of domestic abuse as well as complex and multiple needs
  • Understanding the hurdles women face when trying to escape abuse
  • A strong understanding of victim support


This role is aware of the commitments some women may have outside of work therefore are happy to discuss Hybrid working.
