    Inside Sales Engineer Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly driven Inside Sales Engineer to support our global sales team in providing essential guidance to customers throughout the sales cycle. Your primary objective is to facilitate the seamless adoption of our software solutions, improving safety and efficiency in our customers' production plants.

    Leveraging your technical expertise, process industry knowledge, and effective communication skills, you will employ a customer-centric approach to comprehensively understand clients' business drivers and requirements. You will recommend optimal solutions, showcase the value of our products, prepare quotations, and collaborate with the global sales team to win opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Support global Yokogawa sales organization to generate and close sales opportunities with global customers.
    2. Provide product information in response to customer inquiries, matching customer requirements to proposed solutions.
    3. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations during sales engagements or to support marketing activities.
    4. Create proposals for development and deployment of customer-specific software solutions.
    5. Communicate client needs to Software Development team.

    Requirements:

    1. Degree-level technical qualifications in engineering or software-related subjects.
    2. Proven 3 years work experience in sales of process automation or software solutions.
    3. Solid technical background in process industry or software technologies.
    4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    5. Self-motivation, results-driven, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
    6. Ability to build relationships across all levels of sales channels and customers.
    7. Willingness and ability for international travel.
    8. Experience and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    Desirable but Not Essential:

    1. Proven work experience in sales of complex software solutions.
    2. Proven track record of selling Plant Information Management Solutions.
    3. Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and process industry technologies.

    About Us:

    We offer a hybrid working environment, allowing you to balance home and office work. Our offices are located in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom. We require occasional presence in the office, so you should live within commutable distance.

    37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet customer and business needs.

    A permanent contract with a competitive salary, depending on experience.
