THE ROLE

As Security Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with the management of the security team as well as the safety and security of our guests, colleagues and building.

You will report and follow up on any incidents that may take place and play a pivotal role ensuring everyone at the hotel feels comfortable and secure.

You will also help the Director of Security to oversee Health and Safety for the hotel.

Your tasks as Security Supervisor will include but will not be limited to:

Alongside the Director of Security, you will assist with the smooth operational running of the security team, overseeing performance of 24/7 security staff and varied thirdparty contracted relationships.
Ensuring the safety and security of colleagues, guests and the hotel is paramount.
Assist with investigations that need to be conducted and gather any evidence required in relation to incidents that may take place.
Complete incident reports in order to keep an accurate record of any event or situation that may arise.
Assist and notify management, law enforcement and government agencies or any other appropriate individual in the event of an accident, incident, or fire.
Make sure all actions adhere to the company Risk Management plan.
Assign lockers to colleagues.
To be the point of contact for any escalated guest complaints or queries, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Conduct regular mock fire evacuation and crisis management drills as per the hotels emergencies standards
Assign duties and schedule staff for balancing needs of the hotel and productivity standards.
Liaise with all department heads to ensure hotel employees are adhering to established security procedures.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years' experience in a security role within the luxury hotel market.
Hold emergency first aid, IOSH, and fire safety certification.
SIA licensed.
Good knowledge of OPERA, Microsoft Office, and Security Operations Procedures.
