Flexible & home working


Salary:
£44,073-50,083, including £3,366 inner London allowance or £500 home working allowance.


Contract:
Full time (35 hours per week), permanent

About the role:


We're looking for someone with demonstrable experience of child safety online delivery to mobilise internal teams and partners, so that every child is safe online.

This is a fundamental part of the charity's 10-year strategy and their goal to 2031.

The charitywants to amplify the voices and experiences of young people online so the solutions developed are child-led and evidence-based.


As Associate Head of The Child Safety Online Team, you will lead this transformation programme, working with colleagues across the organisation to make this a reality.

You will work closely with partnerships teams and colleagues that deliver frontline serviceswith children and young people, professionals, the public and policy team to bring about real change in practice with industry.

You will be a strong leader, at the forefront of the work in the area of child safety online.

You will be responsible for leading a dedicated, specialised team, ensuring that the charity remains focused on the areas where it is able to make the biggest impactfor children.


About you:

We are looking for someone who has considerable frontline practice experience who understands the impact online abuse may have on children and young people, who has:

  • A commitment to enhancing the role that children and young people play in influencing and developing child safety online solutions by supporting them to have a platform and a voice
  • Knowledge of current issues, trends and solutions in the child safety online space and how these are applied to practice
  • Excellent project development and management skills
  • Experience of managing partnerships and a network of external stakeholders, possessing excellent negotiation and influencing skills to build successful longterm partnerships and bring about new opportunities and change for children
