Lindow Moss Community Projects Officer - Wilmslow, United Kingdom - Groundwork CLM
Description
Conserving, celebrating and promoting our heritage and green space assets.
The document, produced in 2024, outlines what the Partnership aims to achieve over the next ten years.
We have secured funding for initial delivery from National Lottery Heritage Fund, UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Lowland Peat Water Discovery Pilot scheme which will determine the delivery plan for the first two years.
We will also work to support Transition Wilmslow's plans to celebrate 2024 as the 40th anniversary of the finding of Lindow Man, the local bog body, now in the British Museum.
The programme will involve work delivered by Groundwork and by partner agencies including Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Mersey Rivers Trust and Transition Wilmslow and coordination with staff from local Universities.
