Help us make a difference as a Process, Quality and Information Administrator working in our Municipal division.


The Process, Quality and Information Administrator will collate, analyse and produce reports to measure the contract's performance against Local Performance Indicators (LPIs) and propose solutions for performance improvements.

Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports using data from Whitespace Dashboard and other systems.

This is an office based role.

To assist in the production of daily, weekly and monthly management information to enable Biffa to meet its contractual requirements by identifying poor performance and improving the efficient use of resources

To assist in the production of monthly management information for the Client including details of new initiatives that may be trialled within the local community

To collate and analyse recycling and residual tonnage data with a view to increasing recycling and participation across the city and at ward and household levels

To maintain a record of stock usage together with a forecast of future requirements that will form the basis of new purchase orders for stock items

To maintain a register of faults identified on vehicle CCTV systems

To administer the process for addressing and resolving recycling/ residual/ street cleansing enquiries/complaints from the public

Ensuring that the specified SLA time limits are met

Here's what we require:

Waste management or Service industry background (desirable)

Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPI's

Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement within an operational / service environment

Experience of producing and analysing reports using Microsoft Office Suite

Reports are generally prepared in Excel and the applicants must be able to use Pivot tables and formulas in Excel

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of working within a time critical service environment and meeting deadlines

IT literate - comfortable using business software and systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to influence and persuade people

Interpersonal skills /assertiveness

Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

Organised with the ability to simplify complex issues

Analytical with the ability to measure & monitor data and take appropriate corrective action

Able to able to communicate at all levels, both in verbal & written form

Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, however A-Levels or a Degree certainly won't do any harm
