Description

We have a great opportunity based at our Kettering & Corby campuses for 2 Learning Support Assistants to become key members of our Additional Support department.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • To be responsible for providing support to learners with the learning difficulties and/or disabilities in all aspects of the college curriculum.
  • To provide overall care of the learner and enable him/her to access the college facilities and develop independence within the wider community.
  • To be an active member of the Foundation/ main college team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress.
  • Level 2 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent or/ willing to work towards
  • Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English
