Description
To provide support to our youth learners year old) with various activities to help them to participate fully in their training programme.

To provide direct support to learners based on their individual needs and support them progress towards and successfully achieve their learning outcomes.


Job roles will include:

  • Help to maintain high levels of attendance and punctuality, and interventions to improve it.
  • Support learner progress by monitoring attendance and punctuality and acting effectively to improve it
  • Work with agencies in school and beyond to support learner's
  • Work within Copa's systems on safeguarding and communication to inform leaders
  • Contribute to Learners personal development as a mentor and coach.
  • Provide lunchtime and break supervision each day, being available for and interacting with students, whilst ensuring that good order is maintained.
  • Working with children aged 16 to 19 years
  • Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst working on the provision

Desirable Personal Qualities

  • Any previous experience working with children
  • Any previous experience working in a controlled environment / following health and safety practices.
  • Strong Science knowledge/understanding
  • Communicational skills relevant to both children and adults
  • Competent skills in numeracy, literacy and ICT

Training to be provided
The Apprenticeship includes both on-the
- job learning and off-the-job training which leads to nationally recognized qualifications.

18 hours


Qualifications Needed
Preferably A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths but training will be given.


Qualifications to be gained
Level 2 or 3 Supporting, Teaching and Learning

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour
