Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this medium size multi academy trust set in the Midlands.

We are seeking an iTrent payroll expert to cover a long period of sickness.

Supporting 18 schools with over 2000 employees, you will lead on the provision of an effective payroll service, ensuring employees are paid accurately each month.

Reporting to the Director of HR, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring maternity, paternity, adoption leave and KIT days are correctly paid
Implement annual increments and cost of living increases
Process new starters/leavers and changes in contract
Provide expert advice on IR35, employment status and statutory payments
Resolve payroll and pension queries.

You will support on any issues relating to the system, identify and resolve any anomalies, develop improved workflows, ensuring it is used to its full potential.

You will be educated to GCSE level, including Maths & English, a CIPP qualification would be desirable. You will have a confident ability to manage a large payroll coupled with an established working knowledge of iTrent.

Liaising across 18 schools, you will bring exceptional customer service skills, have a natural ability to establish positive relationships quickly and will remain calm under pressure.

Attention to detail is paramount, and questioning information is integral to this role, to ensure an accurate and positive payroll service is provided.

This is a full-time, all year through role with the potential for hybrid working, although some onsite visits will be required, working with the central team based in Tamworth.

This is a temporary role for 3-6 months.
