Digital Retail Banking - Associate Director, BFS Consulting

Location:
London, Leeds or Glasgow

Salary:
£100,000-£115,000 base

Benefits:

Seeking an Associate Director to join the Banking and Financial Services Consulting team for a global provider of information technology.

This client is a member of NASDAQ-100, the S&P 500, Forbes Global 1000 and the Fortune 500, and is one of the fastinggrowing companies in the world at the moment.

This role provides an opportunity to join a high energy and entrepreneurial team in the Consulting arm for Banking and Financial Services.

Skills and Experience needed for Associate Director:

Experience in helping to build a consulting or agency business, balancing client delivery with BD and practice management.
Comfortable with all aspects of programme design and leadership, performance management, continuous improvement and handovers
Experience in Business Analysis/Consulting or PMO roles in Business & Tech programmes with retail banking clients, whilst helping them to achieve their operational goals.
Full project life cycle change or digital product management experience, with knowledge of project delivery (agile/waterfall)
Experience in DevOps / Design ops welcomed but not essential
Thorough understanding of the changes taking place in the banking industry, use of emerging technologies and new business models

Commercially astute and entrepreneurial
Relationship building between clients and colleagues is key a team player who works well with a variety of clients and coworkers
Excellent written and verbal communication for delivering information to senior stakeholders
Creative thinker and problem solver
Open minder and pragmatic, guiding teams successfully
Coaching and mentoring team members is also essential in this role

Direct experience of working in retail banking industry through a bank, fintech or building society is key.
