Accounts Administrator with Xero, Guildford, £24-28k + Hybrid working
This is a cracking opportunity for you to join a really successful and rapidly expanding tech import / sales business in a varied Accounts Administrator position.
The client needs a very well organised individual to help in their busy accounts and logistics department to keep on top of the record number of orders that they have coming through.
- This role will include matching payments and orders in Xero.
- Reconciling to the bank accounts in Xero.
- Tracking orders on Excel spreadsheets and checking that they are allocated correctly (to avoid overselling stock and disappointing customers).
- Entering supplier invoices and checking them for accuracy.
- You will also coordinate the transfer of stock and also check for the accuracy of the products arriving from overseas and that the stock matches with the warehouses and allocations.
- A lot of these tasks will also be done for the overseas transactions on a European system too but additional systems training will be given.
Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical approach are all key skills here, as is the ability to communicate confidently with team members in other departments and clients alike.
Hours of work will be pm Monday to Friday on a Hybrid basis (as above).
There are 23 days holiday to be taken at Xmas + 1 for your birthday). The 20 will then increase 25 days after three years' service.
There is free parking on site - you will need to drive as public transport links in the area are not great.
The salary range is £24- £28k depending on experience and there is also a generous bonus scheme based on a mixture of company and personal achievement that you will be eligible for after a qualifying period.
