£10.10 per hour - 24 hours per week

We are a 35 Bed Nursing Home about 3 miles outside of Exeter, set in a converted farm building and on 6 acres of Devon countryside, we are in a wonderful rural location for our residents.

We are now recruiting for a cleaner or housekeeper to join our dedicated team and ensure we maintain excellent cleanliness and tidiness levels throughout the building.

We are looking for someone up to 24 hours / 3 days per week.

As a housekeeper / cleaner you will provide cleaning services throughout the home including common areas, residents' rooms, and offices.

You will organise laundry and laundry rotas working as part of a team with care staff, kitchen staff and others within the home.

You should have a good understanding of chemical cleaning products and procedures, and be comfortable in a physically demanding role which will include manual handling of objects such as furniture.

Manual handling training will be provided.

To be considered you will need to be a good team player, who can demonstrate the ability and eagerness to clean to a high standard.

You will be keen to provide a great service to our residents, ensuring your work contributes positively to our resident's quality of life.

Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is essential,. and experience in a care or nursing home environment would be beneficial.

Competitive rates of pay £10.10 (rising to £10.40 in April) per hour + £2.50 for overtime
