Our client is a market leader in the Insurance industry based in London looking for a Finance System Manager who will be responsible for managing a team of systems accountants, ensuring the global finance systems used are to the full capability and expenseactuals information is captured in time and quality.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of 3 staff and create a culture of collaboration, excellence and professional growth.
  • Ensure timely expense processing and uptodate master data maintenance.
  • Ensure training for end users for globally, mainly SAPbased systems and tools.
  • Increase efficiency and quality of processes by leveraging system capabilities and implementation of systembased process & control improvements combined with enhancement of automated procedures.
  • Actively work with the commercial reporting team to support the expense reporting requirements as well as with the Finance transformation team.
  • Build strong relationships with Finance & Actuarial, IT and Underwriting colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of cost center structure and expense capture.

Who we're looking for:


  • 57 years of experience in managing accounting and finance systems used to the full capability as well as expense actuals information are captured and have a good understanding of finance processes.
  • University Degree and/or relevant professional qualification.
  • Must have ACCA/CA qualifications.
  • Experience in expense processing and SAPbased system knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated organization skills including team and time management.
  • Proven meaningful process standardization and automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
