About The Role:

***- This role is accountable for delivery of a Portfolio of 'Data Products' (Curated data assets, visualisations and data science algorithms, that deliver repeatable value to internal or external customers across the enterprise) with an investment value of c. £8- £15 million, in a regulated environment.

Your teams will be directly accountable to business owners and stakeholders for designing, operating, maintaining, and enhancing the data capabilities that power our business, Data Product Ownership is a key driver of our data led transformation, providing a strong link

- between the business needs and the technology teams.

Our Head of Data product and strategy will be dedicated to working in partnership with the leadership teams from specific areas of the business to understand their strategic direction, needs and value that can be derived from data products. You will be accountable for the value, cost, risk, service delivered by the data product teams, and will have direct oversight of the Strategy & Investment Funding for your portfolio
This role's primary responsibility to work in partnership with the business leadership teams to develop a value proposition for data products through a team of data product owners whose role is to assess, shape and deliver data products and be responsible for value identification,

- delivery and realisation. Ensuring roadmaps and demand backlog that fulfil the strategic objectives and Data Strategy vision for the society.

About You:

***- As an experienced leader, with significant experience, you'll have the ability to engage and enthuse a diverse set of stakeholders. You will have a passion for converting data into insight - whilst maintaining effective governance and control.

With experience leading within Data Product teams, you'll understanding how agile principals relate to data product development, complexity from in data technologies landscapes and an understanding of the practical uses of data science and machine learning.
You will be comfortable and credible in front of a senior audience and be able to add value to the wider Finance team, beyond the confines of your role by demonstrating excellent stakeholder management and relationship skills with the ability to influence business decisions and command credibility at senior managerial levels.
In depth experience in defining and maintaining a portfolio roadmap and product backlog to support the efficient and effective achievement of customer outcomes.
You'll display evidence of strategic thinking with the ability to shape and lead a capability and distil multiple perspectives.
Intellectually curious; you encourage ideas and challenge, through innovative thought leadership.
Experience overseeing Enterprise and large budget IT initiatives.
