    Salary: £60,000 + bonus & benefits per annum

    The Role:

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our cutting-edge analytics team in London or Bromley.
    • You will work closely with a team of 50 analysts to deliver advanced analytics solutions that drive business growth and success.
    • Your key responsibilities will include:
      1. Contribute to the development of predictive models using machine learning and advanced analytical techniques (KNN, XGBoost, etc.)
      2. Improve existing models and create new tools/models for analysis and valuation of potential accounts/portfolios
      3. Present and explain valuations and predictions to the Investment Committee and stakeholders
      4. Dig into data and raw information through statistical analysis to discover trends and patterns that can be used to extract valuable business insights
      5. Develop predictive models, e.g. Scorecards, using statistical tools and techniques
      6. Contribute to internal Analytical Labs to keep pushing the boundaries in modelling, predictive analytics and business insights

    Candidate Profile:

    • A strong background in quantitative analysis and experience working with large data sets is essential
    • Experience in using statistical computing languages R, Python or SAS to manipulate data and draw insights from those data sets is required
    • Familiarity with databases (SQL) would be beneficial
    • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
    • Interest and experience in model development is desirable
    • A high level of integrity and dependability, with results-orientation and a strong sense of urgency
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex problems in an easy-to-understand manner
