We are looking for a kind, caring and compassionate live-in carer/companion to live with a retired lady

40 hours/week, 5 days a week, normally Monday Friday but must be very flexible with their days and hours
Self contained furnished spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom is provided no pets, partners or dependents

- £ 30,000 gross p.a

Duties will include:

Companionship
At the moment personal care is not needed but help with dressing/undressing may be needed in the future
Accompany on outings/appointments
Assisting with medication
Helping with appointments
Preparation of healthy, nutritious and light meals
Wardrobe management
Washing and ironing
Making and changing beds
Light housekeeping cleaners will be employed

Essential requirements:

Enhanced DBS, ideally on the update service
Previous care/companion experience, with a proven track record and excellent references
Cheerful disposition
Kind, caring and patient
Thoughtful
Flexible
Ideally car driver use of car is available for work use
Non smoker
A good understanding of nutrition, able to prepare and cook simple meals
Fit and active
Looking for a permanent role
