Are you an Accounts Assistant looking to kick off 2023 in a new role?
We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy team based in Perth.

This will be a varied role which will require the individual to carry out purchase ledger duties and assist with the subcontractor accounts.

In addition to this they also operate a hybrid working policy, with the option to work up to 3 days from home.

There is also lots of parking at the office and regular bus services nearby to make it nice and easy to access the office on days you need to be in.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties of the role will include:

Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment.
Carry out supplier statement reconciliations.
Compile payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded.
Verify all new subcontractors in line with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) standards and manage monthly CIS returns.
Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager.

What we need from you?

Experience in a similar accounting role.
A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one would be beneficial.
Previous experience in the construction industry and dealing with subcontractors would be an advantage but not essential.
Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure.
