HR Advisor

Permanent

£30,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)


Macildowie HR are working with a manufacturing company in south Leicestershire to recruit for a HR Advisor on a permanent basis.


This role will work in a team of 2 in HR alongside the Head of HR, meaning it's very generalist and varied This role will be involved in taking proactive management throughout the company to promote and excellent working culture and coaching and developingline managers within the business.

This role will have a lot of involvement in HR projects as well.


THE ROLE

  • To support to the Head of HR as and when required in employer branding initiatives, retention and talent management
  • To provide generalist HR support, coaching and guidance in a competent and confidential manner
  • To support and advise managers with grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management and performance cases
  • To coach managers in and with all HR procedures and challenge noncompliance
  • To actively monitor, in conjunction with relevant manager, all absence cases that exceed 4weeks absence instigating formal proceedings where necessary to the Head of HR
  • Interpret and advise on employment legislation
  • Delivery of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on boarding and induction, appraisals etc. Ensuring in conjunction with HR Administrator that the relevant documentation is up to date and complies with legislation at all times

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2 years' experience working at an advisory level or ability to advise line managers on employee relations
  • Experience of writing policies and procedures


  • CIPD level

  • Ability to build good working relationships
