Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for an opportunity to enhance your Finance career?


An exciting position for an Accounts Assistant to join a SME business based in Barwell, Leicestershire on a full time permanent basis is available.


You will play a crucial role within the business, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure a timely delivery across all areas of Accounts and Finance, alongside having the chance to continue studying towards your AAT's.


Undertaking a variety of finance tasks from purchase ledger, to payroll you will become a strong asset to the team.

General administrative tasks on an adhoc basis will be required when collaborating closely with the other departments.

About You, Skills, Abilities, and Attitude:

  • To have working experience in a similar role
  • Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Sales Ledger Clerk or Credit Controller.
  • To have an invested interest in Finance as your long term career.
  • To have a good working knowledge of MS Excel is required, and experience of Sage 200 (or Sage 50) would be beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues.
  • Driven attitude and ability to work independently as well as a team.
  • Cando attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
