We have over 150 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and our most recent office launch in Glasgow.

As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an experienced health and safety advisor, who will work alongside our health and safety manager and play a key role in our ambitious expansion plans.

This role will be south Manchester based.


What are we looking for?:

As a health and safety advisor, you will have:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Construction Safety Qualifications
  • Professional membership of either IOSH or IIRSM with evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Lead Auditor Certification (ISO45001) with a minimum of five years' experience auditing construction sites
  • Excellent working knowledge of either power generation, process or the renewable energy sector and the dynamic nature of risk contained therein
  • Proven track record of operating in and continually updating a positive health and safety culture
  • Up to date working knowledge of the CDM regulations (with experience representing the Principle Contractor and/or Principle Designer)
  • Prior experience in chairing HAZOP studies
  • Practical sitebased experience, comfortable in covering HSE issues on multiple sites
  • Strong office IT skills
  • Able to chair and minute meetings
  • Ability to attend client meetings with our business development team
  • Effective time management skills
  • The ability to evaluate, explain and simplify complex root causes and effect issues
  • Clean full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel in the UK, Ireland and overseas if required
