As
Events / Sales Support Specialist, you will be joining a fast-paced and busy environment, working alongside some inspiring talent within Hitachi Energy.
You'll be responsible for organising events, from confirming the event, booking attendees, reporting, creating purchase orders and communicating effectively internally and externally to ensure the events are promoted.
You will report into the Executive Assistant to the Country Managing Director, supporting in ad hoc activities and managing the full onboarding of future talent into the business.
This is a permanent full-time role which offers a wide range of work activities, allowing you to truly be yourself and thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding and offboarding of Front End Sales (FES) and Corporate team.
- Take ownership of the business card ordering process for the organisation.
- Take ownership of PPE ordering for FES and Corporate teams.
- Provide ad hoc support to Executive Assistant (EA) at busy times ensuring documents, events and communications are kept organised and communicated effectively across multiple channels.
- Take ownership of the events booking process, creating a shared calendar of events which include GIR/FES and CMD events.
- Identify industry related events the team could attend within the external market to promote Hitachi Energy.
- Coordinate the submission of papers prior to an event as appropriate.
- Raise appropriate Purchase Order requests linked to events.
- Organize event logistics, before and after the event.
Your Background:
- Proven experience working within events and in a busy corporate environments.
- Positive attitude, selfmotivated with the ability to multi task.
- Excellent communications skills ability to talk to all levels within a business
- Proven experience in organising events and communicating effectively with the businesses internal and externally.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach.
- Excellent team work and collaborative approach.
- Experience in using Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams.
- Able to travel to events and sites when required.
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education:
- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Organisational skills: 3 years (required)
- Events management: 3 years (preferred)
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Relocate:
