Our client, a global name in Pharmaceuticals, is one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK, and they are looking to hire a Medical Science Liaison.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and delivery of the local Medical Strategy and Medical Plan for Tecentriq
- Implementing the local Medical/Non-Promotional Plan (accountable for all Plan outcomes and budget)
- Leadership of the disease area external collaboration and engagement plan e.g. implementation of the key opinion leader (KOL) adviceseeking plan, including advisory boards
- Providing relevant medical education and training for HCPs
- Leadership of the investigatorinitiated study (IIS) program and oversight of ongoing studies
- Providing strategic medical review (and approval if appropriate) for promotional & nonpromotional materials and communications
- Preparation of the activity and budget submission to the global ACCORD programme annually
- Lead/support the local evidence generation program in collaboration with our Market Access function
- Support crossfunctional activities with a focus on 'highmedical value' products/services and support appropriate adoption of innovative technologies within clinical practice and patient pathways
- Providing Medical input into regulatory or diagnostic assessment submissions
- Horizon scanning evaluating the potential Medical benefit or value of new diagnostic technologies/interventions
Requirements:
- Relevant sciencebased Masters/PhD or MBBS/MD essential
- Prior experience working within Medical Affairs in the diagnostic or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
- Prior experience of project management highly desirable
- Prior experience of KOL interaction (e.g. educational events, advisory boards etc.) desirable
- Knowledge of the development and implementation of clinical trials, including data analysis and interpretation preferred
- Knowledge of the regulatory process and associated governance of diagnostic technologies preferred
- Experience of working in a crossfunctional / matrix team setting in collaboration with other functional partners desirable
- Prior experience working in HCC desirable

Salary:
£600 - £750 (LTD) per day
Full Time
12 Month Contract (end of 2023) Outside of IR35
