We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Planning Support Team as a
Team Leader.

Your role:


In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of the Planning Services Support and Property Information teams to deliver high quality and efficient support to the wider Planning team.

Working to the Planning Services Business Support Manager, you will also ensure work tasks are allocated and prioritised to the team on a day-to-day basis to meet targets.


What you will need:


You will have previous experience of working within a Planning and/or Building Control environment and dealing with administrative processes, alongside a working knowledge of Planning and Building Control legislation and procedures.

A working knowledge of Local Land Charges process, Street Naming and Numbering process is also essential.


We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has good written and verbal communication skills, and be well organised in their approach to work.

Computer literacy and confidence is also essential, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office.
