We are seeking an experienced IT technical lead with a strong background in SQL Server and MS Windows to join our team based in Canary Wharf, London.

As an IT technical lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical professionals, designingand maintaining database systems using SQL Server, managing and maintaining MS Windows-based infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and maintain database systems using SQL Server, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Manage and maintain MS Windowsbased infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring that technical standards and best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SQL Server database administration and management, including query optimization, performance tuning, and backup and recovery.
  • Experience in MS Windowsbased infrastructure management, including server and workstation configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloudbased technologies is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor technical professionals.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
