About The Role:

Finance and Admin Clerk - required for immediate start

Permanent position

Term Time + INSET days (39 weeks), plus 10 days to be confirmed

24 hours (4 days) per week (days to be confirmed) 8.45am to 3.15pm

Salary Details:
Grade D £23,500 to 23,893 FTE (pro rata, pay award pending)

We are seeking to appoint a Finance and Admin Clerk for an immediate start with excellent office and ICT skills to join our friendly staff team working in a busy school and nursery environment.

The roles involve a variety of administrative duties for Finance, HR and general administration to support the work of the HR and Finance Manager.

The role also includes providing some first aid and welfare requirements for the children.
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- self-motivation, good organisational skills and time management
- ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload
- professional attitude and approach
- creativity and confidence in using ICT
- experience of working with a school-based finance is desirable
- a good working knowledge of accounting procedures and software packages, preferably within the education or childcare sectors

  • works well under pressure
- can provide general welfare support for pupils (preferably First Aid trained, however training can be provided)
- is a Team player and willing to participate fully in the life of the trust
