My Client is a leading independent and international media agency that connects people to brands. The media strategies are based on people's behaviours.

They work across the full spectrum of media planning and buying, with fantastic media teams dedicatedto client servicing, broadcast, publishing, digital, data and content production.


The Team


The Data Team sit at the intersection of Behave, our insights team, and the rest of the media agency, providing data insights and technology solutions for all aspects of the media cycle - planning, activating, optimising and measurement.

We are a combinationof Engineering and Analytic skill sets, and work with data from clients, specialist partners and from our own media to give insights to our clients and internal teams.


The Role
We are looking for a full time, permanent DATA ENGINEER to join our growing team

based in London.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Lead and manage data projects from both media and Behave clients
  • Own technical and commercial relationships with technology suppliers such as AWS and ETL providers
  • Set the strategy within our AWS architecture for product usage
  • Develop and maintain our Redshift DWH
  • Develop new products utilizing other AWS products such as Lambda
  • Build data visualisations in Tableau

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the strategy behind and delivery of bestinclass AWS architecture
  • Productising and productionising Behave Tools into AWS Lambda in line with Behave growth timelines
  • Developing and maintaining Tableau Dashboards
  • Developing Transformation and Loading SQL scripts
  • Work within an Agile framework to deliver projects
  • As a senior team member, help set work priorities and development direction

Ideal Skill Set

  • 5+ years experience in SQL
  • 2+ years experience in Python
  • Experience with APIs, ETL tools, data warehouse architecture such as RedShift
  • Familiarity with cloud providers. AWS highly desirable, GCP/Azure/IBM useful
  • Knowledge of newer tech such as SnowFlake highly desirable
  • Good understanding of data models and preparing data for analysis
  • Ability to gather, understand & interpret business requirements
  • Capability to independently problem solving and make decisions
  • Experience with enterpriselevel dashboarding products, Tableau preferred
  • Experience within Media, Marketing and Advertising preferred but not essential
