ROLE OVERVIEW

The Team
This highly respected and well known
General Liability Dept is seeking a junior lawyer for their team in London.

The team is part of the firm's Insurance Group and has a well-established client base, acting for a number of market leading liability insurers in the provision of their employers, public and products liability services to insured businesses.

The role will predominantly be dealing with personal injury claims arising out of these policies with the opportunity to become involved in associated regulatory matters such as health and safety investigations/prosecutions and inquests.

There is also the opportunity to deal with the regulation of products.

The General Liability Insurance team is linked with the Medical and Life Sciences team. There are currently 2 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 3 Senior Associates and 3 Associates.

The Role

Management and assisting with the management of fast track and multitrack personal injury claims.
Advising on all legal aspects relating to claims including coverage.
Managing a caseload of claims.
Delivering high quality and timely output to clients, ensuring high levels of client service and alignment with agreed working practices and client service level agreements.
Working to develop an environment of constant improvement: enthusiastically sharing with and helping others; and taking responsibility for aspects of team development, such as intranet pages, training and induction, process improvement etc.
Capturing and collating required Management Information in accordance with agreed practice for clients.
Contributing to the development and improvement of the team's service, support, processes and procedures.
