Stockport

£31,000 - £37,000 (£15-18p/h)

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm


Our reputable engineering client is currently looking for CNC Miller and a CNC Turner to join their busy CNC workshop.

Due to Heavily investing in state-of-the-art equipment including turn and mill centres, enabling them to be a leading company providing CNC design and manufacturing.


Main Responsibilities of the CNC Miller

  • Competent operation in programming and setting a variety of CNC lathe and mills, including 5axis CNC machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
  • CMM quality reports (FAIR)
  • Liaise and collaborate with other departments and implement solutions
  • Provide ideas for process improvements

Experience and Skills required

  • Reading Engineering Drawings
  • Experienced working with 5axis millturn machines and multichannel
  • Experience with Siemens Sinumerik Preferred
  • A logical approach to problemsolving
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication with all levels of responsibility
  • Experience of working within quality standards such as ISO 9001
