Yeovil, GB, BA22 8RW- Req ID: 7067SEEPEX is the leading global progressive cavity pump provider with a turnover of more than £200m.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at SEEPEX in Yeovil, Somerset.

Primarily the role involves the receiving and despatch of parts, repaired pumps and associated equipment and to support the in-house repairs as required.


Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for the unloading and loading of all stock entering and leaving the premises, including storing it correct locations
  • You will assist the Service department in the repair or modification of pumps
  • You will be responsible for undertaking inspections of workshop equipment its safety to use (racking, forklift as examples)
  • You will be responsible for "passive" and "active" Fire Safety Measures for the building
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the high standards of housekeeping are maintained in the stores and workshop

Key Competencies:


  • Good standard of English and Maths
  • Experience in warehousing
  • Experience of mechanical repairs
  • Forklift licence and clean driving licence
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg
  • General DIY experience for making crating an advantage
  • Willingness to assist Service Engineer on a customer site, if necessary, would be an advantage

Qualifications:


  • Qualifications in Maths and English
  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage
  • Forklift Licence
  • Clean Driving Licence
