Hours - 36 to 48 hrs per week (Days/Nights) Overtime +£1 per hour
Amber Mace are working with a luxury care provider who have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join their luxury care home in Waterlooville to work either days or nights.
This is a newly opened luxury purpose built home who are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to support the management team and lead their team of carers in providing fantastic person centred care for their elderly residents who may also have age related conditions.
If you are a Senior Care Assistant with previous experience and have strong leadership skills who is looking to work for an outstanding growing care provider of luxury care homes, who will invest in you and your progression then look no further.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential
- At least 1 years previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant
- Experience of motivating and leading a team
- Previous experience of working with elderly/dementia residents
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A passion for care
- Experience in administration of medication essential
- Resident in the UK sponsorship is NOT available
Your role:
- Supporting and assisting the needs of residents on a day to day basis.
- Supporting and supervising the team
- To lead a team of Care Assistants
- Training and development
- Promote and maintain a high standard of care
- Supporting residents with all their needs
- Administering medication
- Completing paperwork and maintaining records
- Continue to uphold the 1st class person centred care the company provide
