We are Firmin Recruit, an employment business working on behalf of our established manufacturing client based in south East London.
Our client has over 40 years' experience servicing the global numismatic industry.They have experienced 25% profitable growth year on year over the last 5 years, are a medium sized company and exceeding a 12-million-pound turnover.
A family-owned business that still has members involved at Board level, and the MD having shares in the company. They are an ambitious organisation looking to establish £25 Million by 2025 and a great company to work for.
Due to business expansion our client is recruiting for an experienced Operations Assistant to support their business on the day-to-day operations of their business.
Role:
Operations Assistant
Salary £33,000 - £35,000
Benefits:
Parking, Pension, 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, company events.
Location:
London SE5 9DF ( Nearest Tube station is Denmark Hill)
Hours 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday
The Role:
- To effectively manage our clients stock from start to finish, being proactive regarding orders and stock requests
- Reporting of forecasts, inventory and material management
- Manage the day to day planning and logistics for the business
- Uploading stock levels to a SAP system
- General Administration duties.
- Previous Operations Assistant experience is essential
- Strong Word, Excel and Stock Management systems experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work on your own is necessary
- Previous logistics and stock management experience
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
