Technical Sales Manager

Circa £60-80,000 + OTE + car + Pension + Benefits

The Company:


Working for a successful UK based business, selling Solar products into a range of clients - this will include Architects, Manufacturers, Farmers and industrial units.


The role:


  • Build and promote strong customer relationships through understanding their low carbon requirements
  • Assist with technical proposals for projects including energy modelling when required
  • Develop credibility and trust with customers thorough industry insight, technical knowledge, robust commercial proposals and responsive and effective communication
  • Manage enquiries including progress reports
  • Manage pricing and installation costings
  • Customer site visits and surveys
  • Drive enquiries and new business through trade shows and advertising response
  • Installation design


This role will include travel across the UK however your time will be split between home-based work and meeting with clients.


The Person:


You will ideally have sales experience within Solar however similar sales experience in sectors such as roofing / construction products will also be considered.


  • Proven sales success with excellent negotiation skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • Results driven with a cando attitude
  • Personable. able to communicate effectively at a variety of levels and very your style to match situations
  • Structured and organised
  • Selfmotivated
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • A practical understanding of projects and electrical installation desirable
