Behaviour Support Assistant to join a school in Portsmouth.


About the Role:


As a
Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Providing oneonone support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
  • Supporting the overall wellbeing of students and contributing to a positive school ethos.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.

  • Have an uptodate CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
