The stunning Silverlake Estate is owned by Habitat First Group, a company founded on the principle of creating holiday home communities that share a deep love for Mother Nature and sustainability.

The Hurricane Terrace / Bar, alfresco Pizza oven and Yurt is a unique offering to our property owners and guests overlooking the beautiful Silverlake Spa and Estate.

We are seeking a passionate, confident, and professional Front of House team member, who can also create made-to-order light bites such as paninis, toasties and tapas.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests to the bar terrace which includes property owners and holidaying guests, ensuring they always feel welcomed.
Take food and drink orders in a friendly and courteous manner.
Prepare and serve drinks from behind the bar.
Prepare and serve light bites, such paninis, salads, toasties and tapas.

Set up and maintain the bar terrace service areas to the highest of standards, taking cutlery to tables, serving drinks, and clearing tables.

Prepare and serve light bites, such panini salads, toasties and tapas.
Manage all payment transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity.
Stock control, identifying and reporting when stocks/supplies are low.

If you have the right skills, cover the container kitchen as and when required, cooking breakfasts, plus hot and cold lunches preparing for the HFG and CBL team members.

Key Skill Requirements

The ability to build positive and vibrant relationships with our property owners and holidaying guests.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills are crucial with a passion for providing the highest quality customer service.

We work as a team so you must be able and willing to support your own team-mates and those from other departments.

There will be times when you are the only person working a shift (albeit with team members from other departments around), so the confidence to work on your own is key.

L2 hygiene certificate is preferred, but we are happy to train and invest in the right person.
Some kitchen experience would be fantastic.
Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
