JOB OVERVIEW


Leeds International Study Centre and its programmes are provided by the Study Group in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University.


You will support the existing Registry & Operations Department, within the Student Experience Team with the day-to-day administrative functions of the office.

You will need to be organised, with strong ICT skills and administrative background.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in monitoring student attendance
  • Maintaining accurate student records and keeping student details up to date including contact details, visa/passport details and next of kin information
  • Financial duties including handling petty cash, the sale of books, and the processing of refundable deposits
  • Assisting in student enrolment processes
  • Assisting in ensuring the centre is compliant with UKVI requirements
  • Assisting in organizing and delivering student induction and events
  • Assisting in the administration of student assessments
  • General administrative duties and support e.g. production of letters, ordering stationery
  • Creating engaging studentfacing information for the Virtual Reception
  • Any other duties as required from time to time by the Senior Coordinator and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Adhering to all compliance requirements in relation to GDPR, UKVI requirements, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification including a minimum of C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure
  • Good IT skills
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise
  • Evidence of working cooperatively with others
  • A studentcentred and clientfocused approach
  • A commitment to continuous professional development including a desire to take on increasing responsibility
