Page Personnel are working with a highly successful business going through a period of growth. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger focused Accounts Assistant to join their team at an exciting time.


Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the Sterling, Euro and Dollar Purchase Ledger;
  • Recording and processing purchase invoices accurately
  • Responsible for carrying out monthly supplier statement reconciliations prior to payment
  • Producing two supplier payment runs a month and setting up on internet banking
  • Processing daily sales invoices, uploading on to accounting system and factors accounts
  • Posting cash to the Purchase and Sales Ledger and carry out month end reconciliations;
  • Preparing daily bank reconciliations across all bank accounts
  • Managing the Sterling petty cash and processing transactions on the accounting system;
  • Checking of carriage invoices to quotes prior to authorisation;
  • Processing debit/credit card payments from customers;

Profile

  • Previously worked within a Finance setting
  • Desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Required
  • Knowledge of Sage 50
