The Bond Hotel is a family run hotel set on the south shore of Blackpool providing fully accessible holidays for guests who may have a physical disability, learning disability for over 35 years.

We are the UK's largest disability friendly hotel.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Housekeeping team.

We need a great leader who is approachable, organised, hardworking, leads by example and takes great pride in their work.

Work patterns are based on shifts, working 5 days on a 7 day rota. This includes weekends so you need to be flexible. Shift times are between 9.30am and 4pm.

Job title:
Head Housekeeper

Main purpose of job:

To lead and assist the housekeeping team, ensuring that all bedrooms and public areas are cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis.

Control stock, and ensure weekly and monthly cleaning tasks are completed and recorded.

Position reports to:
Duty Manager / Assistant Manager

Location:

The Bond Hotel.

Salary:

Exceeds National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage

Main tasks of job:

Clean bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms to a high standard, ready for new arrivals.
Inspect rooms that have been cleaned, checking high standards of cleanliness are consistent throughout the hotel.
Provide onsite equipment that guests require during their stay, making sure they are clean and in good repair.
Service bedrooms for guests that are staying over.
Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant team.
Clean the corridors and public areas.
Check stocks of linens and consumables regularly, and order when required.
Ensure weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks are being completed, inspect the tasks have been completed, and record the completion of these tasks.
