Associate Director - International Health Economics & Outcomes Research

Job Purpose


This position will support the development of Health Economic materials for Vertex pipeline in Cystic Fibrosis and Hematology to support launch activities in Ex-US markets.

It will have a particular emphasis on supporting the adaptation of global economic models, budget impact models, and the development of HEOR materials to meet country-specific health technology assessment (HTA) requirements.

This role will collaborate extensively with the rest of the International HEOR team supporting activities across the international region with special focus in Nordic countries and Australia to support their reimbursement/dossier submissions.

It will report to the Head of International HEOR sitting in the International Head Quarters (IHQ) in London. This role is a fully cross-functional role, navigating the matrix of stakeholders across global and international organizations.


Key Responsibilities:


Development of HTA reimbursement dossiers Economic model adaptation Development of budget impact model HEOR point of contact for the Nordics and Australian teams.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in HEOR related activities.
  • Indepth and current understanding of international HEOR/payer environment, including reimbursement decisionmaking and HTA processes.
  • Experience in adapting global economic/budget impact models and other support materials to meet country specific HTA requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with international product launches and supporting their efforts on a countrybycountry basis.
  • An advanced degree in one of the following areas: health economics, public health, biostatistics, medicine, or another analytic field.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong oral/written presentation skills.
  • Ability to navigate and be successful in a fastpaced environment.
