Do you have experience working with young children?

Reed Education is seeking a Primary School Teaching Assistant to join the team at a local
Banbury School.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers to support the academic and personal development of primary school students.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and help them achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities include:


  • Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Working with students oneonone or in small groups to reinforce concepts taught in class
  • Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students as needed
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Preparing and organizing classroom materials and resources
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A patient and caring demeanour, with a genuine interest in helping children succeed
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students
  • An enhanced DBS check (we can help you obtain this if needed)
