We are recruiting for an experienced
Community Programme Co-ordinator to manage the community programme at Strood Salvation Army for this exciting opportunity to re-commence Salvation Army community programmes.

This position requires the post holder to be a practising Christian.

Key Responsibilities:

Networking with Church members, other local Salvation Army expressions, Churches and agencies and community groups.
Develop and lead worship in the community programme where appropriate and take part in worship relevant to the community expression of The Salvation Army.
Provide pastoral care and support to those using our programmes.
Recruit and develop a team of volunteers.
To design, develop, deliver community programmes to meet the needs of the local community.
To work within the and be an enthusiastic advocate of our Christian ethos and values.
Work within Salvation Army safeguarding policies.

You will:

Be a practising Christian
Have experience of leading faithbased activities
Have confidence and experience of holding pastoral and workbased conversations
Have experience of designing, developing community activities and programmes
Have experience of supervising staff and volunteers
