Watford Palace Theatre Workshop is a busy workshop which runs throughout the year, building the Theatre's own in-house productions as well as commercial builds for our clients.

The workshop is located in Bletchley and we are looking for a new workshop assistant to work alongside the rest of the team.

A successful applicant will be primarily based at our unit in Bletchley but will occasionally be required to travel to the theatre in Watford to assist with fit ups of our in-house productions.

The role will require you to be able to build from drawings provided by our Head of Construction and to keep a tidy workspace at all times whilst operating in a safe and efficient manner


Essential Experience / Skills:

• Carpentry Experience (3 years)
• Understanding how to interpret technical drawings

Desirable Skills:

• Metal Work (1 year)

Job Types:
Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
