Description

As a senior employee of the Trust, you will work in close co-operation with and support other clinical, medical, professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality, safe health care to patients.

Integral to these responsibilities is the following:
The provision of a first class service. Effective leadership to all staff engaged in the specialty.

Supporting undergraduate and post graduate teaching and training Undertaking all work in accordance with trust policies and procedures including the Code of Behaviour Conducting clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of Homertons business plans Contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development To provide a comprehensive outpatient service, managing consultations and record keeping in a timely manner; ensuring the patient record is up to date in real time with follow on actions requested via the EPR and tasks completed in line with Trust and Service processes and SOPs running of clinical departments and the supervision of junior medical staff and specialist nurses.

In addition, he or she will be expected to adopt an active role in the wider management arena within the directorate where appropriate.
