£30,000 per annum (gross)

Eva Timber is a timber importer and merchant based in Crook, Co Durham.

We are an emerging company and having recently taken on a new site in Crook we are now looking to expand our presence in the North East.

Sales Representative is required to support company's business expansion.

Job Description:

Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying their companies' products or services.
Selling to timber end users e.g. construction companies, builders, landscapers, fencing contractors, general public and DIY customers
Communicating with customers before and after a sale
Resolving customer complaints and concerns
Processing orders, dealing with enquiries and cold calling prospective customers
Maintaining an indepth understanding of the company's products or services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
Strong work ethic, desire to work in a fastpaced environment, confident and resilient;
Enthusiastic and selfmotivated;
Ability to sell products and services
Indepth knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports
Strong attention to detail
Must have experience within a sales OR customer facing role previously
Previous experience in the timber sector or builders merchant is desired but not a requirement.
