Senior/Principal Highway Engineer - Sector Lead
We have a very exciting vacancy to run a Highway Design Team for a great consultancy in Cardiff.

You would be the Sector lead for the team and would be the main point of contact to more Junior Engineers/Technicians.


This role includes:

  • Hands on Design
  • Client Liaison/meetings
  • Team/Line Management
  • Bidding for work/projects
  • Project Management
  • Great progression routes to Associate Director

A Civil and Structural Consultancy based in the heart of Cardiff who are well renowned and well respected, they have been around for over 30 years and work on varied and interesting projects.


Civil Engineering Services Include:

  • Highway Design
  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • SuDS and SAB Applications
  • Pavement design
  • Water Engineering
  • Civil Structures
Sectors include Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Education.

Recently, they have broken into the Potable Water and Sewage Sector which adds another string to their already illustrious bow.

They also have a new Breakout area where staff can kick back and relax.
Ideally, you would be Chartered or working towards Chartership and have 6+ years' experience. You would need to be Degree Qualified with a relevant degree.


Package:

Depending on experience the Salary Brackets are £40,000-£50,000
20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays and Christmas shut down period
37.5 Hour Working Week with Flexible/Hybrid Working available
