We are a company with a proud tradition spanning over 150 years in designing and producing the highest quality solid wood furniture and landscape projects for some of the UK's most well know spaces.

Our heritage is working in hardwood, producing bespoke street furniture and landscape products.

All are finished by hand to ensure the highest standards and are made to meet the demands of both modern and traditional settings.

Due to exceptional growth we now need to recruit a Team Leader to join on a full time or 4 day week basis, with the following skills:

• Hands-on approach: Willing to spend the majority of time on the shop floor, leading by example and working alongside the team
• Resource planning expertise: Proven ability to effectively plan and allocate resources in response to fluctuating demand
• Process optimization skills: Experienced in identifying and implementing efficiency improvements in a production process
• Strong leadership abilities: Capable of motivating, training, and managing a small team to achieve targets
• Analytical mindset: Adept at using data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions
• Adaptability: Able to adjust resource planning and operations to navigate seasonal demand fluctuations
• Continuous improvement focus: Constantly seeks opportunities to streamline processes and drive efficiency gains
• Excellent communication skills: Able to effectively communicate with team members, management and customers
• Passionate about driving efficiency and continuous improvement in the operation
• Thrives in a handson role, willing to work sidebyside with the team to get the job done
• Good resource planning skills and ability to adapt to seasonal demand changes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing operation with fluctuating demand
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills
• Ability to perform essential job functions in a busy production environment
