Description

A dynamic and forward-thinking South Wales legal team require a Conveyancer to join their Conveyancing Department.

The law firm, which has been providing legal services to the local inhabitants for many years, is quickly expanding, and this is an excellentopportunity to join at this exciting time.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a dedicated and efficient person who is professional, confident and polite at all times.

You will need to be able to work accurately and quickly when under pressure and be able to work with mínimal supervision.

You will be expected to manage and develop a profitable case load and to deliver high quality conveyancing services by building on and expanding on the relationships with the conveyancing team, other firms and clients.

To be successful in this role the right person will be a Conveyancer and have experience of managing own caseloads with excellent client care abilities and keeping to professional standards.

The duties will include but not be limited to:

Complying with regulatory and office requirements
Staff management, including giving work to support staff, and supervising
Check all documents are correct before sending
Support with clients of all associated fee earners to providing continuity of service
Promote happy working relationships with colleagues, clients and other associated third parties
Time recording
Be fully knowledgeable about the Firm's IT and database
Be familiar and confident with the Firm's accounting practices for client and office monies, TT transfers and cheque requests ,
Actively play a part in the marketing of the conveyancing department, in order to promote the Firm, maintain and develop existing client relationships and to attract new clients
Meet or exceed agreed billing targets

A good knowledge of Residential Conveyancing including Land Registry procedures is essential to being successful in this role
