Responsible for contributing to the conversion of Audience Prospects into monetised audiences; seeking to convert a qualified audience prospect to a delegate to a Physical, Virtual or Hybrid event or to a lead for Marketing Services.

Also involved in the retention of our attendees year on year.

ATF gathers over 13,000 c-suite telco and tech leaders, superstar founders, influential investors and top government officials.

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for tech for good and who is looking to grow their career in events marketing.


Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

  • Contribute to the conversion of audience prospects into monetized audience.
  • Implement and execute marketing campaigns that encourage audience prospects to navigate the buying cycle from awareness to interest, desire and ultimately (ecommerce) action (and Advocacy). (Physical, Virtual & Hybrid Events).
  • Support the identification of target audience prospects and secure reach into prospects that are aware.
  • Under the direction of the Marketing Lead in Market Pillar, implement and execute strategies to optimise offering of insight and permission.
  • Direct delegate sales to physical and virtual events (paid and unpaid).
  • Direct registrations for Marketing Services campaigns (from Media, Event and Research brands).
  • Own the strategic partnership programme.
  • Support the cross pollination of audiences from one source of information, education and connection to another.
  • Responsible for retention/renewal programmes for paid customers and attendees yeartoyear.

Best practice/measuring performance/innovation & product development

  • Contribute to a bestpractice marketing environment, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilise Marketing Excellence tools and approach. Driving for continuous improvement.
  • Maximise usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice method and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Gather and utilise data to highlight and address key improvements to Marketing process and delivery.
  • Contribute to reporting processes and providing weekly KPI reporting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Market Pillar and beyond with a customer first focus.
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to create and convey convincing arguments in the copy you create, and the ability to tailor your voice to the audience.

Qualifications

  • Prior proven Marketing experience is an advantage as is the ability to contribute towards and support the conversion of audience prospects into monetized audience.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and understanding of customer needs.
  • Competent in managing stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Prior experience of managing project activity, and managing time efficiently.
  • Selfstarter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and assume greater responsibility.
  • Positive, entrepreneurial, cando attitude.
